Accessibility Statement
We want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to learn about Meritas and reach us easily. This statement describes how we design the Site for accessibility and how to get help.

Our commitment
Meritas Real Estate Advisory, Inc. is committed to making meritasadvisory.com (the “Site”) accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility, not a one-time project.
The standard we design to
We design and test the Site to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, or have motor, cognitive or other disabilities.
What we have done
- Structure. Pages use meaningful headings, landmarks and lists, so assistive technologies can describe and navigate them.
- Keyboard access. Every menu, link, button and form field can be reached and used with a keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus indicator. A “Skip to content” link appears at the top of every page.
- Text alternatives. Images that convey information have text descriptions; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Color and contrast. Text and controls meet WCAG AA contrast ratios, and color is never the only way information is conveyed.
- Readable, resizable text. Text can be enlarged to 200 percent without loss of content, and the layout adapts to small screens and zoomed views.
- Forms. Every form field has a visible label, required fields are identified in text, and errors are described in text.
- Motion. The Site has no auto-playing audio or video, and animations are reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Testing. We check pages with automated accessibility testing tools and manual keyboard testing before publishing, and we review the Site again when we add content.
Known limitations
We are not aware of any accessibility barriers on the Site. Some content we add in the future, such as downloadable documents or photography, may take time to review. If any document is not fully accessible, we will provide the information in an accessible format promptly on request.
Feedback and assistance
If you have difficulty using any part of the Site, or if you would like information in a different format, please contact us. We will respond within two business days and work with you to provide the information or service you need.
